Always Call Before You Dig
The SETX Damage Prevention Safety Day is an annual regional event. The FREE event is geared toward excavators and operators in the Houston area.
We are committed to offering impactful, educational sessions that bring new insights on how to work safely around underground facilities.
The purpose of Safety Day is to provide general awareness of 811 – Call Before You Dig and other safety precautions that excavators should take while performing their jobs. Safety topics are presented through interactive training sessions and live demos.
Stakeholders typically represented at Safety Day are municipalities, regulatory personnel, one call staff, excavators, locators and utility owner/operators. The utility owners generally represented are gas, electric, phone, cable TV, water and wastewater.
Safety Day is the place to network with experts who have a common commitment to protect our underground facilities while keeping our communities safe. This is a completely FREE event that you cannot afford to miss.
Next Safety Day will be October 18, 2018. 8am-3pm.
Sponsors from 2017 will Stay on for 2018.
